Johnny took John John to the grocery store this afternoon to pick up a few essentials we’re running low on—meat, milk, bread, butter… and of course, chocolate. For me. 🤍

There’s something I deeply love about this quiet moment. A big cup of tea, a little milk chocolate, my computer open, and my thoughts flowing freely. These simple moments feel sacred to me.

As I write this, I feel something deep in my bones: this blog is going to inspire people. Not because I’m special—but because it’s becoming a space where like-minded souls gather. A place of connection, honesty, faith, and shared humanity.

If you’re here reading this, thank you. Truly. Thank you for walking alongside me on this journey.

My name is Cristina. I’m a mama to two little boys—one is 8 months old, the other just turned 2—and I love them more than words can hold. My husband John is an incredible father and a deeply kind, supportive human being. I feel so blessed that our paths crossed when they did.

We live on a farm in California, and I absolutely adore it here. The sunshine, the warm days, the gentle breeze—it fills me up in ways I didn’t even know I needed. I love stepping outside without layers of heavy jackets, sometimes with just a sweater, and on some days, even a simple shirt.

It still amazes me that while some people are plowing snow and gathering around fires just to stay warm, we barely turn on the heater.

I grew up in Moldova, where winters were harsh—sometimes reaching -20°C. And while I do love snow and its quiet beauty, I’ve learned that my soul thrives in sunshine. We moved to the United States in 2006, settling first in Sacramento. Over the years, I’ve lived in the Bay Area, San Diego, Joshua Tree, Clovis, and now the Inland Empire.

I truly love the weather here. While the area isn’t as conservative as I personally prefer, I’ve been blessed with something incredibly valuable—a beautiful community of like-minded women who are raising their children God’s way. I cherish them deeply.

I attend two mom meetup groups, and they’ve become such a meaningful part of my life. One includes a short Bible study, and the other takes us to different parks and places around the area. There is laughter, conversation, shared stories, and so much joy. Motherhood can feel isolating—but community changes everything.

Thank you so much for being here and for reading my words.

I’ll see you in the next one 🤍

Until then, I’d love to hear from you—

✨ Comment below and tell me where you’re from and what the weather is like where you live.

With many warm wishes,

Cristina
